Yes, it may say that, but I've never seen a gif used with that program. If you want to use a gif, for animation, you will need to cut each frame using a gif editor, and paste them in sequence and saved it as a bitmap. Then you can have animations in sysmetrix. A good example is the Aquarium 2 theme. If animations in sysmetrix is what you want the gif for.

No, I am working on a new suite but it is REALLY round edged and it almost havent got any lines. cutting pixels get ugly so I was wondering if I could use a transparant gif for it

Yeah, I understand what you mean. But, isn't it the same with WMP skins? You can still see the jagged edges even on some of the greatest ones by The Skins Factory. Personally, I've never seen anything but bitmaps. Here's my recommendation SS. Why not email the creator of the program. He always returned my email questions and suggestions and he even implemented a few in sysmetrix updates. He is a new guy, drop him an email. [Message Edited]

I tried to make a link above bit it didn't work. His address is nick__decker@hotmail.com
His website is http://www.xymantix.com/info/index.html
His email address is hard to copy because it has two underlines. Try the other link to get his email from his website if the email link doesn't work.

Thanks chas, I will do that
(btw, when working with photoshop, and you have to create a wmp/sysmetrix skin you can also draw it with anti-alising off)

Yeah, I know. But you basically have to edit the edges, pixel by pixel, and fade the colors. Anti Aliasing is great but only if you are using a non transparent background.
